Five years after the events—and for the first time in a televised work—this documentary gives voice to the firefighters who worked against the clock to keep the Horta de Sant Joan fire under control in 2009. Among others, we’ll hear the testimony of JosepPallàs, a member of Lleida’s Support Group for Forestry Actions unit and the only survivor of the accident that caused the deaths of five firefighters. The head of the unit, Marc Castellnou, will also recount his experience of having gone to the site of the deadly entrapment 125 times in order to analyze the causes and garner lessons for the future. All together, they explain how the operation functioned over those first days of the fire.
